How To Change IP Address In Firefox & Chrome Browser

IP or Proxy Address is a set of specific numbers provided to your computer by your ISP. It refers your location or address of your computer or you can say it is an address of your computer on the internet. Any one can simply find your location with the help of your IP address. But why we need to change IP address ? because in schools, colleges and other different locations the administrator might block some sites and we cannot access those sites. For Example, in colleges we cannot open Facebook, YouTube or other sites because the administrator blocks those sites. So to open or access these kind of sites we have use or add new proxies or IP address. There are many methods to access these sites like web based proxy, VPN etc. And the other method is to change IP address manually in your browser. How TO Change IP Address In Mozilla Firefox.

Step 1.First Open Mozilla Firefox >> Click on Tools >> then Options.

Step 2.Now you will see new window click on Advanced >> under advances click Network >> Settings.

Step 3.Then it will open new window. Now click on Manually Proxy Configuration and then place your HTTP Proxy in the box and Port too.

Step 4.In the connection after all above settings just “check” the Use this proxy for all protocols .

Step 5.Then click on OK and your proxy will work fine.

How To Change IP Address In Google Chrome.

Step 1.First open your Google Chrome.
In the top right corner click on settings button.

Step2.Then from the list click on Settings.

Step 3. Now you will see new window scroll down the window and click on Show Advanced settings.

Step 5. In the network section find change proxy settings.

Step 6.Then you will see the window of Internet Properties then click on Connections tab.

Step 7.After above steps now you will see there settings option for Dial up connection and LAN settings.

Step 8.If you using dial up connection then select from the box and click on its settings option in the right side.

Step 9. But if you are using LAN connection then click on LAN settings.

Step 10.Now you will see new dialogue box in this >> Under the proxy server section >> Tick on use this proxy for LAN/Dial up connection.

Step 11 Now Add your Proxy and port addresses.

After doing this tick on Bypass proxy server for local addresses.

Now click on save button and your proxy will work fine.
